How to get involved in this adventure

Baxter the Boar & Friends is still at the beginning of its journey. What started as a simple idea inspired by the beauty, heritage, and community spirit of St Andrews is gradually growing into a wider creative project. The characters and their stories are beginning to take shape through illustrated books, early animation concepts, and a small collection of handcrafted soft toys.

As the world of Baxter and his friends continues to develop, the project will move into its next phase with a crowdfunding initiative that will invite supporters — both locally in St Andrews and further afield — to help bring the stories to life.

A meaningful part of the project’s long-term success will also support the creation of a new local charity, the St Andrews Youth Trust, which will help provide opportunities for young people within the town and further afield as resources allow.

We also warmly welcome interest from creative collaborators — storytellers, illustrators, animators, educators, makers, and artists — who may wish to become part of the growing journey of Baxter and his friends.

Get In Touch

The world of Baxter & Friends is coming to life.

What began as a simple idea inspired by the character, charm, and heritage of St Andrews is now growing into a wider creative story world. New ideas and projects are currently taking shape, each helping to bring Baxter and his friends closer to the audiences who will follow their adventures.

These include a collection of illustrated children’s books, animated stories, educational resources, and tourism guides that explore the places and traditions that shape the characters’ lives.

Alongside the stories themselves, a range of thoughtfully designed merchandise is also being developed — from soft toys and ceramic mugs to colouring books and other keepsakes — allowing Baxter and his friends to become part of everyday moments for readers, families, and visitors alike.

As the project continues to grow, there will be opportunities for creative collaborators, supporters, and partners to play a role in helping this small idea develop into a lasting story world.
