The joyful voices of the shoreline
–
Sandy the Seal is the cheerful heart of the harbour — a friendly face who seems to know every wave, boat, and visitor that passes through the waters of St Andrews.
Always full of stories and laughter, Sandy loves sharing tales of life by the sea and welcoming new friends to the shoreline. Whether he’s bobbing in the harbour or resting on the rocks, you’ll often hear him singing a sea shanty as the tide rolls in.
Rarely far from his side is his younger sister Shore, whose playful spirit and endless curiosity turn even the quietest day into an adventure. Together they are known around the coast as a lively double act — Sandy telling the stories and Shore helping bring them to life.
From harbour walls to sandy beaches, the two seals remind everyone that the sea is full of wonder, friendship, and a little bit of mischief.
